Sunday night. 6:30pm. It's getting dark very fast. It's getting cold. We only have one little crappy light. We're pretty deep in the Kanata Lakes mountain biking trails. We're really hungry. And we're really lost.
When we entered the trails, a club volunteer gave us a map and a warning to stay within certain boundaries and that it's really easy to get turned around in these trails. We took the map but not the warning. With all the leaves down and in the dark it's really easy to get lost when you've never been on these trails before. It took us a while until we could figure out where the hell we were and to find the train tracks just in time before it went pitch black. Thanks CN Rail and thanks to that guy who gave us the map. We would have spent the night in the woods.

Ahh, the awsome feeling of, I know where I am and, through the darkness, I can see a light that I can reach.
Good shot and exiting story.
