This reminds me of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. If you haven't seen The Wall, drop everything you're doing and watch it right away. I can't remember where I heard the quote but someone said that 'The Wall would be the best movie to give to extra-terrestrial visitors to understand what it is to be human'. A cinematic and musical masterpeice.
