Found this little one on our January 7th outing with the Ottawa Duck Club. Poor little things thought they were camouflage so they let you get pretty close to them. We saw another bunny this weekend while walking the 4 dogs (Miko, Ziggy, and our neighbor's dogs, Pete and Elle) at Ken Steele Park. This one wasn't so lucky to be camouflaged. The poor little thing came to an end under Pete's jaws. When I got to it, it was still breathing. It died in my hands and I felt it's body go cold.
On the other hand, Pete was quite proud of himself... You gotta look at the bright side too, right?
