Taken late last summer on the north shore of the Ottawa River east of Alymer at my friend Marc's cottage.
Marc, Krista, Corrie and I will all be getting in a very small car for a little road trip to southwestern Texas. This will be the most exciting thing I've done in quite some time. No doubt we will murder eachother by the time the trip is over. Stay tuned to see photos of the ride, Big Bend National Park, and Austin. I've set up automatic posts for the next few days and hopefully I can get to an Internet cafe of sorts around the 19th to start posting photos of the trip. Comment moderation will take a while for the next few days so bare with me.
On our journey we will be facing many obstacles and challenges. For starters we will be driving through tornado alley during peak tornado season. On the road there might also be a fair share of unnerving encounters with State Troopers, Hard-Core Punks, Hard-Core Carnivores, Hard-Core Christians, and illegal immigrants trying to cross the US-Mexico border. In the desert we might encounter rattlesnakes, tarantulas, poisonous centipedes, scorpions, bears, and mountain lions or fall face first into a nasty cactus.
Ooohhh...it's gonna be fun!
