Ottawa/Hull lost a little secret treasure yesterday. A nice little Portuguese bar called MAR-AZUL at 174 Eddy St. was destroyed in a major fire. I've only been there a few times for an afternoon drink but the place and the people were very warm and welcoming. I always wanted to go back but now that's impossible. At least I left one of my keychains for the wall.

RIP
They had the cheapest beer in Hull, therefore in Ottawa. They never played with a full deck of cards, and packed about as much character as any Portugese bar can. Next time I am by I will leave an old key chain on the burned out wall. Where to now after a drunken game of Frolf?
P.S. Check birdmans web site. Here comes the Cyborgs. Good times are back. If only these shows were at the Dom.
