Saturday around 5:45 pm the moon will rise and will also be in full eclipse. This should be about the same time as the Sunset so be sure to be in a place with a great view and let's hope for clear skies. It will be a while until the next chance to see one. I think they're still calling for snow here in Ottawa so I need to find a (drug-free) way to get above the clouds. Anyone have a decent airplane I can borrow for an hour or so?
Here are
the details
Here's an interesting link to find out the moon cycle from anywhere in the world at anytime.

I don't have an airplane, but, I can give you an eclipse of my moon on Saturday night. It is not quite so spectacular but it shines much brighter.

I love the colours in this shot, the deep blue sky against the redish glow of the stone work. Cool shot
