A Saguaro cactus not quite ready to blossom.
From an early morning stroll at the Colossal Cave Mountain Park just south-east of Tuscon, AZ. After an entertaining tour of the cave we spent the night in the campground with our friends which we met randomly in Death Valley. How often do you run into friends from your town, that you traveled with last year, more than halfway across the continent, in a remote place? After the shock we camped out, shared a meal and some Molson Canadian, then parted the next day. We planned a meeting again in a few days in Arizona since it was their first day in park and we were heading out.
PS: sorry for the skipped post yesterday. But nice weather, playoff hockey, overdue chores, and volunteer work are taking priority to bringing you photos. I might get down to only posting Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for the summer... we'll see.
