Down Ontario's Highway 69 somewhere between the turnoff for Kilarney and Highway 64 is my Mom's favorite tree. I took this photo back in summer 2004 so I'm not sure if this tree is still standing. I do know for sure that she's alive and well and celebrates her birthday tomorrow. Here's an early birthday photo and another coming tomorrow.

The old tree still stands, she held up in the wind storm last summer. She's not ready to come down, but it will be a sad day when she does. Thanks Ron, I love you, too.
