Where's Talbot? Does uncle Johny know his son has an island?
Paw on 15th July 2008 @ 4:09pm
PAW: Actually there are two islands! Big Talbot and Little Talbot islands. I keep forgetting to tell him about that but will try to remember next time.

I love this photo, it looks like the branch on the left is reaching out to the little tree, that appears to be falling.

I hate to bust your bubble but this is not Little Talbot FloridaStateParks.orgbigtalbotisland/aboutthepark.cfm Also linked on their site there is a map showing both Big & Little Talbot. On the map it calls this The Bluffs which is Big Talbot Island. Little Talbot is a little further south & has more amenities but no big beautiful trees on the beach at Little Talbot. On the web the info is listed both ways & easily confuses people that haven't awakened naked on one of the picnic tables or su-in
I do believe this the most amazing photo of it that I've ever seen.

You are absolutely right. Thanks for pointing that out Ava and thanks for the compliment. It really is a beautiful spot, isn't it.

Yes it is very beautiful. WavesDVD.com (on youtube) asked what is your favorite Florida Beach. My first thought was The Jetties (Huguenot)but the helicopters doing touch & go's wouldn't make a great DVD ha! soo I submitted Big Talbot Island. It's very unique Cuba has beautiful beaches. I have you in my RSS feeds for updates on new posts.
Love the photo's & photo protection too !
