Being big fans of HBO's Carnivà le, Corrie and I had to go see this 1930's nostalgia carnival "Carnivà le Lune Blue" for ourselves. More photos to come.

Wow! I love how the lights are so soft [bling!]. Great capture! Oh, and thanks for your compliment of my foodblog. :)

You should share this pic with the owner of this place. He'd probably really like it and maybe buy it from you or at least put you in the freak show.

I'd like to hear more about how the carnival was. I really wanted to go, but it was so expensive and so far and there was almost no information about it. Was it worth it? Should I go next time?

@ XUP: The Carnival was a lot of fun. I did find it a bit pricey but we just had to go. We loved the general atmosphere and the whole idea of traveling carnivals before they became too commercial and overrun by annoying hormonal teens.
The Big top show was really cool and entertaining but we skipped the snake show since we prefer to keep wildlife wild (animals don't belong in cages... the people who put them there do). Unfortunately we missed the 10-in-one show because it was getting too late and we were rather tired. They had some other cool side attractions, old style games, a really cool 1914 ferris wheel, and a carousel but it would have been nice to have a little more.
I would say if you're into nostalgia of those times it's definitely worth it!
