Not sure if other religions practice this but Catholics believed that if you gathered spring water at dawn (before sunrise) on Easter morning, it is Holy. I don't consider myself a Catholic but am moved every time I participate in the ritual.

I agree. And, "for me", participating in a ritual as a gesture of respect and thanks to (something) adds another dimension. The (something) can be whatever you want it to be or call it: (Water, Nature, God, Energy, Spirit, Nothingness, Everything, etc...)
