We did a tour with Dani Jump of Bees Unlimited and one of the stops was this charcoal operation. These folks made and sold charcoal (for cooking) at about .50 USD per sack. Our tour with Dani was possibly the best highlight of our trip. We spent the entire day together where we got an immersed tour of Cambodian life and culture far beyond the usual urban and temples tour. We truly highly recommend his tour to anyone traveling the region. Take the time especially for the market tour and even the bog ecosystem tour.
