The Crows have been gathering in masses lately. They know something is up. They won't tell me.

Everyday I see them flying in this long line from the west to the east at dawn. Then at dusk I see them again flying from the east to the west. They fly like they are following their own 'invisible' queensway. Friends tell me the west destination is billings bridge where they spend the night. Question is why? Why, fly back and forth everyday. I see this when I'm going to work at dawn and when I'm going home at dusk. Makes me wonder do crows have jobs?

This reminds me of a Japanese ink painting although there would never be such detail in the tree is that was the case.
When I was about eight I saw a group of crows having a trial. The defendant crow was being held down by another crow. There was a jury, prosecutors, defense lawyers, a judge and a few observers all cawing away in turns. It was weird man, but it made me think that maybe animals have a level of organization similar to ours or maybe yet, ones that we just can't understand.

I really love this picture! It's true, you know they know something we don't know. Kind of freaky really. See you soon!

They do congregate in the Billings Bridge area. One night coming home from the dominion tavern there were so many of them near my house that I felt like Hitchcock was somewhere nearby with a camera. Very spooky!
