This is a view from one of the ponds at the Shirley's Bay Crown Game Sanctuary which is managed by The Ottawa Duck Club. Corrie and I do some volunteer work with them once and a while. We help out with things like duck box maintenance, cutting the lawns and I'm also the club webmaster. We are self confessed nature nerds.
The squares you see in the background are some of the targets used by the military so I wouldn't recommend going there without explicit permission.
