Road Trip Entry No.1:
Sorry for missing a few days, but Austin only seems to have bars. Reliable Internet access was hard to find. It cost me approximately American simply to respond to a single email so I figured the site can wait a while. All I've got for now are a few shots I took on my little digital. Besides that, I'll have a huge pile of 35mm photos to sort through and an even bigger pile of bills and expenses. We've made it home safe, some of us narrowly escaping murder, some of us nearly committing murder...I won't mention names.
This was taken just after crossing the US border in Frenchtown, Ohio. Besides the immediate lack of Tim Horton's every 25 square kilometres, we were suddenly quite aware we were no longer on Canadian soil. Accents were in effect instantaneously but breakfast was still familiar as we hadn't yet heard of 'Biscuits and Gravy' which we encountered the next day in 'The Show Me State', Missouri.
