Road Trip Entry No.9:
As promised...Texas State Trooper.
Luckily Marc slowed down in time to only be clocked at 79MPH in a 70 zone. We were warned to be careful of the State Troopers and especially in Texas. After giving us a warning and having us quite nervous he actually gave us some great advice that we should stop for supplies in Monahans. Otherwise there would have been nothing between there and Big Bend. And there really was NOTHING.
This was posted strictly for sentimental reasons and obviously not for aesthetics so I apologize for the poor composition. I asked the photogenic officer if I could take his photo but he declined. The girls fell in love with his good looks, classic accent and cowboy hat, and unusually perfectly pressed uniform.
